Asafoetida ignites the fire by creating interest in food. Asafoetida is the smooth sap of a plant called Ferula phoitis. By giving a light injury to the leaves and bark of its plant, milk comes out and the same milk is dried on the tree and becomes gum, it is removed and dried, which is later known as asafoetida.
